Collaborative contracting is a “hot topic” in construction today. Often touted as a means to avoid disputes and advance project cost-effectiveness, an increasing number of construction participants are considering and implementing collaborative contracting models. But is the model a construction panacea? This panel presentation provides owner, contractor, and lawyer perspectives, and discusses collaborative contracting’s adoption by some but not other construction participants.
